The Waxworm
The wild waxmoth's larvae, the waxworm, is despised by bee keepers due to the fact that they feed on honeycomb and destroy bee hives. It's this love of honey that allows Reptile Feeders captive produced waxworms to be both a part of a varied reptile diet or used as treats.
Reptile Feeders waxworms are high in Fiber, Protein and Fat. Those little catepillars pack a nutritional punch.
Female leopard geckos, and other lizards on a heavy egg laying schedule wil bounce back to peak health if treated to waxworms regularly thoughout the breeding season.
